Job Description and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Health and Nutrition Coordinator and with the technical support of the Health, Nutrition & WASH Manager, the incumbent will ensure the implementation of the MIYCN-E/ANJE-U component at community and health facility levels, with a particular focus on early identification of at-risk mother-child pairs, non-breastfed infants, and the application of the MAMI Care Pathway.

The incumbent will ensure that activities are implemented on time, in accordance with national ANJE-U and PCIMA/PPCMA protocols, applicable international technical standards, and Save the Children's policies.

The incumbent will work closely with Community Relays (RECOs), Nurse Supervisors, Nutritionists from Community Observation Centers (OCCs), and teams in charge of PCIMA/PPCMA to ensure a continuum of care between the community, Outpatient Therapeutic Nutrition Units (UNTA), and acute malnutrition treatment structures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• University degree (minimum Bachelor's degree / Licence) in nutrition, public health, nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in implementing nutrition programs, ideally including humanitarian or emergency contexts.
• Good knowledge of national PCIMA/PPCMA, ANJE/ANJE-U protocols, and the MAMI Care Pathway; training or certification in these protocols is an asset.
• Experience in training and supporting community health workers (RECOs).
• Good understanding of child safeguarding principles and protection against sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
• Ability to work in a health emergency context (Ebola), including strict adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) measures.
• Excellent written and spoken French.
• Availability for frequent travel to Tchomia, Gety, and Komanda health zones and willingness to reside in the area of assignment.

Desirable:

• Previous professional experience with an international NGO or in an epidemic response context (Ebola, cholera, etc.).
• Knowledge of the context of Ituri Province and local community dynamics.
• Basic skills in nutrition data management (collection tools, spreadsheets).
• Knowledge of Swahili or other relevant local languages.
