Objectives

• General Objective: Strengthen participatory governance and coordinated management of territories through a multi-stakeholder platform.
• Specific Objectives:
  • Identify and analyze stakeholders involved in territory management and use.
  • Identify legal and procedural frameworks for stakeholder platforms.
  • Develop a mechanism for participatory and transparent governance.
  • Prepare an orientation document for PNNN to implement the platform.
  • Support the establishment of a structured framework for stakeholder dialogue.

Expected Results

• An exhaustive map of actors and their roles is available.
• An inclusive work plan, based on human rights, is developed and validated.
• An operational multi-stakeholder platform is proposed and implemented.
• Durable mechanisms for territory use are identified and adopted.
• A monitoring and evaluation system for the platform is defined.

Main Missions

The mission is divided into two phases with deliverables such as diagnostic report, stakeholder mapping, governance framework document, action plan, etc.

Profile of the Consultant

• Degree equivalent to Bac+5 in natural resource management, environment, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in conservation or participatory development.
• Experience in Central Africa is desirable.

Duration

Each phase is estimated to last 45 days.
